Primrose Hill Stab Victim ‘Can Never Be Replaced’

A 21-year-old film student who was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill has been described by his father as irreplaceable. The incident occurred during a confrontation near the park’s viewing area in north London, just after 6:30 PM BST on Tuesday. Christopher Sullivan, the victim’s father, shared this sentiment with the Daily Mail, emphasizing that his son was his only child.

Finbar Sullivan, who aspired to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps as a cameraman, had been using a camera gifted to him for his birthday when the attack took place. His grandfather, Michael Seresin, is known for his work on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Rambo III. The father recounted Finbar as a “beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy,” highlighting his personality and passion for filmmaking.

“He was not a gang member, but a groovy 21-year-old who loved movies and making films,” Christopher Sullivan added.

Ellen Kinnally, a friend and PR professional from New York, told The Times that Finbar had been unwell prior to the incident. She noted that his recent illness impacted his eyesight, though he was recovering. “He was a visual person,” she said, underscoring his artistic nature.

During the altercation, a second man in his 20s sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds and was hospitalized. The Metropolitan Police has issued a call for witnesses, individuals with images or videos from the scene, and any relevant information. As of now, no arrests have been made.
